Before opening Espy Law, Chris previously worked as an attorney for the largest defense firm in the State of Mississippi and the largest plaintiff law firm in the country where he gained invaluable experience handling a variety of personal injury and employment cases. He has personally handled hundreds of single-plaintiff and complex collective action employment cases. He also has significant experience advising small businesses and local governments on litigation and employment matters.
As a solo practitioner, Chris continues to focus his efforts on protecting the rights of hardworking employees against workplace violations and assisting those who have been injured. He is admitted to practice in the States of Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, and the District of Columbia.
Chris currently serves as the Municipal Judge for the City of Yazoo City. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the Magnolia Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association. He is the former Board Chair of Make-A-Wish Mississippi. He also serves on the Advisory Committee for Leadership Mississippi.
